As a devoted dog owner myself and having worked full time long hours in an office, I appreciate first hand just how important the services of a dog walker are. Allow me to give you that peace of mind knowing that your beloved pet is being well looked after, loved, exercised, socialised and not wreaking havoc at home when you have other commitments.
I have used a number of dog walkers myself over the years and experienced both ends of the spectrum, from the incredible-can't-live-without dog walkers who have become lifelong friends, to those whose practices were unfortunately bordering on dangerous. I aim to provide a professional level of service to my clients that I would expect myself and all the fun and stimulation your dog could wish for - a tired dog is a happy dog after all!
I have had a very successful career in an office based job but becoming a mum gave me the opportunity to re-evaluate what I wanted from my life. I have always had a passion for animals and wanted to be a vet (although my squeamish disposition put an abrupt end to that!) so through setting up Walkease! I have been able to combine my passion for being around dogs and close to nature, with earning a living and being there for my daughter. My own dog came into my life at a low point for me personally and I believe she "saved" me. Having spoken to other dog owner friends I know I am not alone in the importance I place on her and when your dog is in my care I will assume they mean as much to you as Bella means to me and treat them accordingly.
I feel truly blessed that I am excited to go to work every day and believe that passion drives me to provide an excellent service to all my clients, both the two and four-legged kind! I have a lifetime of dog ownership experience to draw on, I have a current DBS certificate, I am fully insured, qualified in Canine First Aid and have achieved a Level 3 qualification in Canine Behaviour and Welfare. On a personal level, I'm a responsible, fun and friendly person who always strives to be the best at what I do. My aim is to be the "go-to" dog walking service in Leighton Buzzard and to grow the business based on word of mouth recommendations.
It would be a pleasure to meet you and your dog and hope to include them on our adventures very soon. Please contact me today (do leave a message if you call, I'm probably out on a walk..occupational hazard!) to arrange an initial face to face consultation, without obligation, but one that I hope will be the start of a new friendship for many years to come!
